The Diachronic Museum of Larissa has been nominated for the European Museum of the Year 2018 award and will be present at the annual meeting of the European Museum Forum in Warsaw. The meeting will be held at the Polin Museum of the History of Polish Jews, which was awarded last year as the European Museum of the year 2017.

Between 9 and 12 of May there will be presentations of the forty museums from all over Europe nominated for this year's awards, as well as special events and discussions. Diachronic Museum will be represented by the Director of the Antiquities Ephorate, Mrs Stavroula Sdrolia.
