The Diachronic Museum of Larissa and all the archaeological monuments and sites of Larissa are closed indefinitely, due to coronavirus pandemic. The reopening of the Museum and archaeological sites will be made public with a new announcement.

In addition, following relevant instructions for social distancing to prevent the transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19), the Antiquities Ephorate of Larissa announces the following:

1. All applications by public and their attached topographical charts, photographs or documents should be electronically submitted to the email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - alternatively sending by courier or post office.

2. In particular, topographic charts and map extracts should preferably be color-coded in PDFs rather than design programs with a resolution of at least 300 dpi.

3. In exceptional cases where it is not possible to send the attached documents electronically, citizens may come to our office premises, only after telephone appointment (tel: 2413 508 282/207).

4. The Ephorate shall, by the next working day of the dispatch, send to the applicant's e-mail the protocol number of the application. Telephone communication will be made for any further clarification.
