The educational programs planned and implemented by the Antiquities Ephorate of Larissa for the school year 2024 – 2025 are the following:

• Scriptures on inscriptions (new): Students study the evolution of the Greek language using inscriptions of the Diachronic Museum (high school students)

• Discovering the Ancient Theater: a program implemented in the area of ​​the relevant temporary exhibition, which is hosted at the DML (senior elementary school students, high school students)
• Holds image and paper...: Students of the 5th and 6th grade of the Primary School have the opportunity to learn about education and writing in the Byzantine years (senior elementary school students)
• With earth and water, a magical trip to a neolithic village: A journey to the Neolithic age (elementary school students)
• A pouch full of toys: Presents ancient and byzantine toys (elementary / high school students)
• A journey to the Byzantine Civilization of Thessaly: Presents history, culture, art and social life of Thessaly during the Byzantine period (senior elementary school students, high school students)
• A city full of stories: A program based on the educational package of the teacher Evagelia Tampoura (elementary school students)
• The twelve olympians in the Diachronic Museum: Young students learn about the religion of ancient Greece, as they see the twelve olympians on various artifacts (early elementary school students)
• Myth-Stories with animals: A fun and interactive program, which combines myths and art (early elementary school students)
• Wind Blowing: The contribution and the depicting of the wind in art, religion, social life from prehistory till today (senior elementary school students, high school students)
• Luminous stories of light in the Diachronic Museum of Larissa: The importance of fire during the ancient times. (senior elementary school students, high school students)
• Tour in the city monuments: Students of primary and secondary education see ancient and byzantine monuments of Larissa and learn their history. The tour will be available on specific dates.

In addition, the material created by the Ministry of Culture - Ephorate of Antiquities of the City of Athens - entitled "Graffiti as historical evidence and as damage to ancient monuments" is available for loan to schools. It includes rich informational material, a collection of copies of ancient works from the Ancient Agora and Kerameikos, which have graphs on them, and the quiz board game "Battle of Time". It is aimed at 5th and 6th graders and high school students (borrowing period: 1 month).

The duration of the programs, which are offered free of charge to all students, varies from 1 to 2 hours.
