The byzantine art in the castle-cities of Thessaly and the greater area is presented through selected pieces of architectural sculpture and wall painting of the church buildings in Larissa, the Mountain of Kellia (Cells), Krini of Trikala and other locations. The administration of the region of Larissa is reflected on the inscription column of the protospatharios Efstathios at the beginning of the 11th cent., from the bishopric of Vessena in the area of Agia.
Finally, we get a better view of the level of living of the Thessalians in the byzantine period, through the exhibition of jewelry as burial offerings, along with the exhibition of representative pieces of the local ceramic vessels.
